GOT QUESTIONS? WE’VE GOT ANSWERS.

Who is WorkWise for Screen for?
Our resources are for anyone who leads a team or manages people, across all the screen industries – TV, film, animation, VFX, games, or film distribution and exhibition. If you’re a production manager, you work in HR, or you run your own screen business, this site is for you.
Do I need to sign up or pay a membership fee?
Our resources are all free to access. Some features are only available to logged-in members, though – like the ability to save resources to your profile, to complete e-learning courses and to attend our thought-leadership events.
Why should I fill out my profile?
By filling out your profile, you’ll be able to filter the resources on this website to be more relevant to you. You’ll also give us additional insight into who our users are, which helps us to continue delivering what you need. As we’re funded by the National Lottery, awarded by the BFI, we also need to demonstrate that our content is helping meet diversity standards, and helping to reduce under-representation in the film industry. Don’t worry, we’ll keep all your personal information confidential – it all just helps us to build a picture of who our users are.
Can I request new resources?
Absolutely! If there’s something you need that we don’t currently provide, please get in touch: hello@workwiseforscreen.org.uk
Is this the same as legal advice?
No. Legal advice is specific and individual, from a lawyer to their client. What we offer is guidance about staying on safe legal ground, and all of our content is quality controlled and checked by experts – including lawyers.

Creating real change

We’re here to help businesses of all sizes build fairer, better workplaces, whether it’s through reviewing best practice, signposting what works, or creating new, much-needed tools. This isn’t just about information – it’s about culture change.
